In the realization of territorial Information System, SEART can boast over twenty years of nonstop activity, during which have furnished databanks and systems SIT to Public Organization as Municipality, Provinces and Regions.
The knowledge of the territory is an essential support for the growth and the development.
In the modern organizations in fact growth doesn't mean exclusively exploitation of the natural resources, but to balance the needs of the develop with the safety, the envinronment respect and the urban distribution.
The integration and the interrelation of the information allow therefore to the policy-maker, to adopt the decisions in the respect of the fundamental factors.

The survey satellitare allows to acquire information on the use of the ground, on the degree of “antropizzazione” e di “infrastutturazione” of a certain territory.

The respect of the standards becomes therefore a factor of fundamental importance to install systems of knowledge of the territory. To such purpose the convergence of a vast of competences is necessary that have to include:
- technical competences on the formalities of acquisition of the information (tools and methodologies)
- competences in subject of planning and construction of models of the territory
- competences of management of projects complexes (project management)
- competence in subject of planning and systems organization
- knowledge of the standards, the parameters, the tools and of the methodologies adopted by the European union to realize territorial informative system.
