SEART is born in 1978 on initiative of a group of technicians coming from the sector of the search and young graduates. The society was recorded to the Chamber of commerce in Bologna in the sector of the "cartography produced with computer systems." 1984 are born the Italcad, (future Join between the American Autotroll and Selenia) this society was wanted from the Prof. Romano Prodi (then IRI’s President ) to reduce the technological gap between Italy and USA in the sector of the graphic computer science. Italcad commercializes and develops the systems of the Autotroll founded on computer Apollo and S.Or. Unix. SEART purchases several  Italcad workstation and becomes partner of it on different cartographic projects. 1985 begin the era of the modern computer science. IBM announces the marketing of the first personal computer with BUS AT. SEART is equipped with these new powerful and economic tools to perform the digitization of the cartography. 1987 SEART is among the first private societies in Italy to equip him with systems Arc/Info. Like partner of Telespazio before and then of Esri participates with these in different interesting projects in the sector of the GIS. 1990 SEART consolidates his/her own experience in GIS sector and the technological nets. Computerizes the distribution gas nets of over 100 communes in Italy. 1996 in association of enterprise with Telespazio S.p.a SEART participates in the jobs for the computerization of the Italian Cadastre. Within such competition they will be computerized over 20.000 cadastral maps. 1998 SEART is awarded the competition for the informatization of the Local Cadastre of the Trentino Alto Adige region. 2000 SEART realizes, for the Mantova Municipality one among the first informative system for the management of the real estate patrimony. 2001 SEART realizes for the Region Emilia-Romagna the first database bank to regional level for monitorare the whole cycle of the waters, sewers and aqueducts. 2002 The growth of SEART sees to add to itself  the commercial center of Bruxelles that will take care of the Belgian and French markets. 2003 SEART is awarded in France the competition of contract of the ONIC (Agriculture Ministry) for the controls of the subsidies UE in agriculture. 2004 SEART realizes, in France, several and importants projects of numerical cartography and GIS. 2006...
